STEP 3: Cut composite shingle

3.1

Use one base plate from the Red Widow mounting system as a template.

3.2

Center the base plate on the footing mark and trace base plate at the bottom edge of the

composite shingle.

3.3

Use a utility knife to cut out the marked portion of the composite shingle. This will allow the

flashing to set in the proper position.
